Default Just got a 96 GSR

Hey guys, new to Honda Tech and new to Hondas/Acuras as well. (used to own a 01 Crown Vic... P.O.S)

Just bought a 1996 Acura Integra GSR with 168k for $2,000.

It's completely stock and the previous owner took great care of her (rebuilt tranny, new cooling system, changed oil every 3k and kept up w/ reg. maintenance ) - except for the body (his wife had no business driving this car, few dents and scratches due to her. )

Now, I am just a high school student, making close to minimum wage and getting ready for college, and as much as I want to get exhaust, intake, and eventually turbo my car, I simply can't afford it, so what I wanted to ask you guys is

What are somethings I can do to make sure this car can make it to 250k to maybe even 300k miles? (maintenance wise?)

I've already changed the spark plugs and wires with
- NGK Premium Wires
- NGK Platinum G Series Plugs
- Change the Oil, Oil Filter and Drain Plug Gasket
- Switched to Premium Gas (previous owner ran regular)

I'm planning to change the Fuel and Air Filter's next..

What else should I be preparing to do? I'm still pretty new to cars so sorry for asking somewhat "noobish" questions.

Thanks guys.

-Change oil regularly, 5K mile intervals
-Change timing belt at 90K mile intervals
-If you haven't already a coolant flush would be a good thing to do
-manual transmission drain and fill with Honda fluid
-check cap and rotor condition, replace if necessary

^^^THIS....and welcome to HT buddy.

Skip all the after market non-sense and focus on College and your career path.

There's not a person here who won't tell you that the B is possibly one of the most well built four cylinder engines ever. With regular maintenance and proper care this car will easily get you another 150k miles, and I can think of several people who are rolling in the 300k mark...their cars are still running strong because they take care of their cars and maintain them appropriately.
