Default ac questio

i found a complete brand new ac assembly for 150 but when i open the packaging the manual only mentions 90 and 91 integra will this work on my 96 integra i do have a b18a1 in it if that changes anything it also says to fill with r12 should i convert it to r134a before i install or jus leave it as is

i don't think it'll work...as u mentioned, R134 shouldn't be mixed with R12. R12 pressures are also lower than R134 systems so the seals/components on the R12 system wouldn't be able to handle the pressure.

Not entirely correct. Yes all the r12 must be evacuated but replacement of the seals is not a must. And when the conversion is performed you generally put about 10% less r134 than r12. Remember this is a brief guide line. You should also change the drier change the comp oil. Some instances add a in line filter and flush the system. Also changing the port valve.

but iwouldnt have to replace anything because i bought it all brand new it is in a acura box with everything bolts wires etc all brand new couldnt pass up this deal so since everything is brand new and never used i should just convert to r134a right but the compressor and all that will just bolt on right

So does anyone know if it will bolt up with out a problem i know i can use ther ac compressor will but i dont know about tthe rest pleas help
