Icon2 CRX HF SWAP HELP????

Just addded a bigger intake manifold (d15b7) on my HF 1.5 8v. d15b6 and am seeming to have a little problem. the car runs good when pressing the accelerator at a calm pace... but when you try to floor it (mainly on 1st & 2nd) the car sputters quite a bit. The car also seems to have when I start it, right when I do the car seems to want to turn off for like 40 sec. right then the service engien light turns on and it gos back to working fine.

Just wondering if it can be the ECU or maybe the injectors.. any advice would be great HELP!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ-oBu4GywU (This is one of the things thats wrong with it)

Double check to make sure all your sensors and vacuum lines are plugged in and secure also check the injectors, as they might not be seated properly.

What code is the Check Engine Light throwing? I would check into this before anything to see if that might be the issue.

@EFsamllzz that could be a tps issue or your not getting enough fuel to the motor.

If its throwing an engine code, turn your ignition on and look at the ecu, it will blink red, count how many times it blinks and that is your code, you should be able to find out what it is, or tell me and I can look it up in my haynes manuel, if it has more then one code, it will blink the # of times for one, pause shortly and do it for the second, third, so on. To me it sounds like its flooding or dumping to much fuel, but I could diff. Check the engine code first and see what its saying.

Thanx slow91crxdx Ill check asap.. the sputtering stopped atleaste for now.. maybe it could of been that the injectors were dirty.. because its running smooth as i step on it.. but the engien still does the same thing when i turn it on.. ill be sure to check it out.. any pics as to where i can see that red light on the ECU would be great!?!?!?

Ecu is located in the passanger kick panel, by where your feet go, pull the carpet back by the firewall on the passanger side and you will see it.

Did you mix up the IACV and Map sensor plugs? They're easy to swap by accident and they will cause the code 3 and code 14.
