mini me not getting spark!
91 dx crx with a b2/z6 mini me running obd1. I converted and tucked the harness myself, ran in to some issues and I thought I had it all figured out but now I'm not getting spark.
Key on, all indicator lights come on, CEL comes on then goes off like it should, main relay makes a single click, and the fuel pump primes.
I checked voltage at the ignition switch and It's 11.88v, I'm unsure of how to check if the dizzy is bad?
It isn't throwing any CEL codes, and I know it works because it threw a 6,9,10, and 16 yesterday but I got it all sorted out. Now I'm not getting any codes, but no spark..
Any and all input is greatly appreciated! I leave for basic training on Monday and I have to finish this or sell it..

I checked voltage at the two terminals on the ignition coil and got 11.88 volts, then I took the wires out from under the screws and checked resistace on the terminals and couldn't get a steady reading it would bounce around to a bunch of numbers
The fact that you got just under 12v makes me wonder if that is your problem I'm leaning towards that. Don't worry about resistance for now. When you grounded out the plug wire you said you saw no spark at all?

yeah no spark at all, tried grounding it out in several spots on the chassis, about the voltage level, I get 11.88v when I check the battery too but it also wasn't at full charge
my mini me from back in the day had simular issues, problem was fixed after I yanked out the DX engine harness and put in the Si harness. However if I were in your shoes and wanted to attempt to solve this without spending coin Id simply recheck every single aspect of the swap from the ECU,wiring,Dizzy, coil, ignitor and so on!
good luck,I had a blast with mine

Charge it up fully till its at a full 12v if no luck still swap out coil and go from there. Also check the ecu ground on the thermostat housing if it is a poor ground you will get no spark.
i had the same problem, bought a new dizzy and problem was fixed. i'm guessing my coil was bad on the dizzy i had, never replaced it just keep it sitting around tho... lol
just finished checking the coil and igniter
Coil (with wires connected,
tested at coil terminals)
Blk/Yel to ground - 1.23v
Wht/Blue to ground - 1.23v
Coil with wires disconnected
11.88v between black/Yel and
wht/grn
Resistance at the coil terminals
with wires on and off the
terminal reads 0.9 ohms
Igniter
Blk/Yel wire to ground 0.7v
Wht/Blu to ground 0.7v
Blue wire to ground 11.88v
I'm assuming that's the
problem that the blk/yel and
wht/Blu aren't at battery
voltage? Where should I start
checking to figure out why this
is happening?

okay so the bolt on the t stat housing was a little loose.. I torqued it down, check voltage at the igniter, 12v across the board...so I let the battery
charge to 100%, still no spark. I
pulled the cap off, my buddy
watched me check the voltage
on the igniter wires
12v at black/yel
12v at yel/grn
12v at blu
put it back together, and still no
spark. So i pulled the cap,
checked the voltages
0.7v at blk/yel
0.7v at yel/grn
12v at blue...
I'm ****in stumped.

You've pretty much checked everything that supplies or controls spark, besides the ignition switch which you would know if that was faulty. So my advice is to swap the ecu real quick and see what happens can't hurt especially if that ends up being your problem.
