so the other day the front right brakes started making noises , metal on metal , like the wear tabs , and that would make sense , except for it goes away , and not when im blaking , i can wiggle the car and it goes away too , ( nothing is loose , i checked ) these padss are pretty old , so its no suprise ,
now for part 2 , i have axxiss ultimates on the front ( yea thats how old lLOL)
what pads are equivelant nowadays ?
its for my turbo R so id like to be able to stop , fast ,

Can't miss on Hawk HP+ (Not to be confused with the less aggressive HP-S).

I have HP+'s on my R i love em... they do have a strong initial bite though, modulation is def necessary, and fade resistance is awsome... if you dont have stainless brake lines I highly rec getting some with the pad upgrade, and some better brake fluid.

 

HP+...contemplating not even putting stock pads back even after my last track event of the summer

 

stock is meant for everyday people how hate squeaks and high initial torque since most people cant brake right... For the fronts you will be very happy especially on the track with HP+'s... I actually run HP-S in the rear to help aid from rear lock-up under hard braking... this setup still has great everyday drivability, no need to take them out after an event...
