Default obd0-obd1 and dpfi-mpfi

whats goin on everyone. i am about to start the process of doing the dpfi to mpfi conversion. now i was wondering if i can convert the single cam thats in my car now to obd1 while converting it to multi point.

one step at a time if your not familiar or wiring isnt your thing. first search for dpfi to mpfi. then simply convert to obd1.


if you are uneasy about this, i sell brand new conversion harnesses which are plug n play. lmk

thank you sir. i just figure why not do both at the same time. then when i go to drop in my obd1 bseries it would be easy.

can it be done though and what would i have to do.

and if i do convert to obd1 now then i dnt have to wire in a resistor box

yes it can be done. if you are uneasy about wiring, then you might get a lil confused. go slow and take your time. as for the resistor box, that depends on which injectors you will be using. if you are using obd1 injectors then yes, you will need to eliminate the resistor box. if you are using pre-obd or obd0 injectors then you will be keeping your resistor box.

obd1 injectors will be used. so no resistor box. thats the way i want it

you can run obd I injectors through a pm6 w/o a resistor box mines done that way now and i did my mpfi swap a year ago
