i go to auto parts store & like usual all the info they ahve about cars is on a computer screen.

so i tell the guy i need the belt that drives the alternator & he hands me this pos that definatly wasnt gonna fit. so i come back in & tell him "wrong part,, heres the part number" he find it.

i ask him to look up the application of the belt he handed me & he seemed annoyed. he was unable to tell me why the comuter said to use a 3 rib belt when my car was obviously using part number

but everywhere we looked 305k4 was not for a 91 honda. so im just wondering if anyone else has a d15b2 & what belt is on there alternator?

 

All 3 of the 88-91 cars i have had came with 3 rib belts stock. It is possible you have a 92-95 alternator and crank pulley as they are 4 rib and bolt right on.

 

yea its definitely a 4 rib. is there a plus to this 92-95 alternator i have.

& i dont understand why they would have gone thru all that work.

the guy did have a 3000 watt system in the car b4 i got it.
