I just bought a 2001 PY ITR, and the PO replaced the faux carbon fiber pieces with GSR pieces. He also replaced the ITR door cards with GSR black leather door cards.

So my question is I seem to find replacement pieces from JDM RHD cars a lot more easily than our USDM LHD cars. Can i just get the RHD pieces and use them in my USDM LHD car or will some of them not fit correctly?

 

The door panels will work off any ITR, if you use the jdm carbon window switches you will have to modify the drivers side switch a little to use it with the carbon piece. The only other carbon piece you will be able to use is the climate control and gauge cluster. The cigarette lighter/ashtray wont work because of the differences in the lhd and rhd center consoles. The vent also wont work. You will have to source the usdm carbon center console pieces from the dealer or find someone selling them used, which is kinda rare. Hope this helps!

 

That's what i was afraid of, but thanks for confirming so i don't spend a bunch of money to find out the hard way.
