I have a 97 honda civic dx and im swapping a b18a1 with the ls tranny. I have the engine fully built and the tranny is being rebuilt right now. Since my original d16 tranny was hydro I have been pricing out a hasport conversion kit. Not sure on which one to buy. Does it come with an assembly for the clutch pedal? im slightly confused and are not to fond of trans. I know how they work and all that mumbo jumbo but if someone could enlighten me on some info that would be grand..

Need more info so ppl know exactly what you mean. Is the tranny cable or hydro? And what exactly are you trying to do with the tranny that you need a conversion for?

 

you could get everything for the conversion from a local junkyard. weather you want to stay hydro or switch to cable.

 

First thing I would do is get rid of the LS transmission and get at least a 94-up GS-R transmission, it would work much better for your "fully built" engine, and be compatible with your 97 Civics hydro clutch system. 94
