So, got an opportunity to buy a 2000 silver s2k w/ 83K for $7500. Is it worth it or a good buy? Car's bone stock, no dings, just little scratches at from bumper from the rocks in front, interior is clean, soft top is all still there w/ no rips, engine looks and feels good, clutch is still good. Don't have pics right now, but just wanted some opinions. Don't know how much S2K's run for besides what I see on craigslist. Or should I just put a little bit more money in to get a newer one?

Thanks for the insights. Will definitely look into it now. It's the asking price. Only thing wrong I found was the hood latch does not close. Have to play around with it to close it. Clean title and no accidnets according to carfax. It's at my work and was a trade in. I get to buy it for what they paid for as a trade in. Always wanted an s2k in yellow but this is silver, and like skittle_107 said, the +02 has the glass top window, but would plan to get a hardtop for it anyways so just need to clarify with the old lady and I think I'll be joining the s2k club!!!
Thats an amazing price, regardless of the year. As long as it has a clean title, you should be good.
It has relatively low miles for that specific year, and things like the glass top can be changed at a later date if you so choose to. I say you get it.

Well, just got the OK from the wife to be and adding a new addition to our family!!! Nothing fancy, but it's a clean one. Took the pics at night so can't see too much of it. Let me know what you think.

Yes it is. Is that your s2k in your avatar? Love the hood. I think I've seen your car before. Around the city. What kind of hood is it? New to s2k so don't really know who makes what. Still a EG guy.

So, after tax and license fee and inspection, everything came out to $8300. Guess it's not too bad. Still very happy with the car. Now it's the question of should I sell my EG to put money into this one??? Probably not. love that thing too much.

I hope not cause I love it too much. There's always room for more hondas...now if I can only get a nsx, my mission will be complete. Wanted it since it first came out.
Steal. We definitely need more pictures. Friend of mine has a s2k and is in the process of boosting it, still on stock bottom end with 32k. Trying to sell him my Borg Warner s262.. lol
