Ok guys i've searched and can only find people talking about d16 dissy's on B series Vtec's but not vise-versa.
I got the b series vtec distributor mounted up on the d16. It fires up but is running rough then shuts off when gas is applied. Since i just put this swap in i don't know what other flaws the motor could have. Runs rough as if it were the IACV. Loud ppssssssss noise from the little hole in the T.B. when running.
But does anyone actually know if a b series vtec distributor will work on D16?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Works fine guys.. It was a case where the gas was bad.. Fresh gas and the swap started up perfectly. Thanks for your input.
