i am looking for some bungs to weld to an intercooler and these are all i can seem to find, this is what im looking for, i just want a larger screw size... does anyone know if Mcmaster-Carr calls them something else, i found these under "standoffs" and they only go to a screw size of 1/4-20... i would really prefer a M10 ideally, just to keep everything metric, but a 3/8-16 would work too...

most people just buy round stock, cut, drill, and tap them.

 

if you dont want to make your own like mentioned above www.rjracecars.com has some alum bungs.

 

Look for coupler/coupling nuts. I did a quick search on McMasterr but no luck with finding them in aluminum.

 

I know this thread is a tad old, but we have these in stock if anyone is looking, I went threw the same hard time trying to find these, then just decided to have them made.
