Hey guys, just need some confirmation and want to know if the part I have found is right.

On the inside of my passenger-front wheel, there is grease caked EVERYWHERE. I have confirmed it is grease and not oil. It is making a sort of clank clank clank noise, but only after the car has driven for a bit, and the noise is intermittent. I am almost positive it is the wheel bearing, but I just want to make sure.

Also, most of the bearings at part stores are $34-$50, yet I have found one for $13. Will this work?

I am a mechanic and have access to a lift on the weekends, yet I cannot get access to parts at my cost until the weekday so I wanted to buy this and do it tomorrow. I have to drive for a long trip next week.

let me get this straight, your a mechanic and dont know what a wheel bearing going out sounds like, and your willing to put a $13 one to trust to hold your wheel on?

a wheel bearing going out sounds like whoosh/grinding sound and it always happens and gets worse as you go faster..

sounds to me like your axle took a ****
