Default 15" wheels vs 13" wheels for slicks

I went to the 1/8th mile track on street tires i ran 8.5 @94 mph. so i need some slicks. I was thinking of buying some 23X8.5X15 to go on my car. because i have a set of 15x7 wheels laying around. my friends at the track keep telling me i need a 13 inch wheel and slick so i will have more sidewall. will it make that big of a differents to spend a another
350$ for wheels.

Depends on your hp level. The 15" will most likely work with your hp setup. The m&h 23x8.5x15 is a good choice.

My choice on 15" was because of brake clearance, I have Nsx brakes, if find some 13" that clears it will be nice.
