converting to mpfi on my 89 DX using an auto Y8 manifold.
where do these things go?
PS. FITV is mounted i just took it off for the picture.

 

1st picture - IACV - nipple on left - connect hose to nipple on coolant pipe which runs from water pump to thermostat housing - just below intake manifold - nipple on right - connect hose to FITV on bottom of throttle body (nipple toward firewall)

2nd picture - connect hose to FITV nipple closest to front of car

3rd picture - don't use any of that stuff - use MAP on top of throttle body - use purge control solenoid that is mounted on the fuel rail - black thing on right of picture #4 - connect hose #7 that is now going from charcoal canister to the firewall mounted purge, to the nipple in the yellow circle in picture #4

4th picture - purple circle - fuel pressure regulator - hose on bottom is the return line to the fuel tank - connects at the firewall over next to the brake booster - yellow circle, see above

since the Y8 intake manifold doesn't have an Intake Air Temp (IAT) sensor, you will need to add one

 

i have an iat i'm adding to the intake arm, all good.

what line should i use to connect the purge to the charcoal canister? i can't get the regular small black line to fit onto the purge nipple.

 

im also about to do the dpfi to mpfi conversion. good luck with it.
