25 in STS, the biggest class of the day.
There were 249 drivers signed up to drive. One of the biggest events of the year here in Colorado. It was sweet.
I ran a 65.3 (Dr. RAB01GSR, I was faster than I thought yesterday) but hit two cones on that run. It was still my fastest run of the day even with the 4 second penality. My second best run was a 69.8 and the third was a 72.something. The 72.somthing was an almost spinout that got the car sideways and then I killed the car. So I had to restart it and keep going. It was a fun day.

Volcom:
Hey on your with the 65.361 +2. Is that you time with the two cones knocked down or vise versa.
BTW I'm now researching on the best spring rates to get with the koni yellows. And I believe I got one of my Dad's friend's into coming and watching us race and possibly my Dad as well. I also sent him a lot of pics.
Let me know about the Winter season if you find out anything about it. I'll do the same. You got me HOOKED, thanks.

His actual time was 65.361, but the cones are a 2 second penalty each, so his "official" time is 69.361. I would go by the 65 sec time though.
I'll be up for the Winter season. I should have my ITR rear sway bar and some better tires by then.
It would be interesting to auto-x in the snow.

Like I said, I feel like a drug dealer. I got all you guys hooked on an expensive hobby. Hahahahaha. I'm down for the winter season also. I need to get a jack so I can change the wheels before the event. I got all the video captured into Eric's computer so we just have to edit it now. It looks good.

I finished last in the STS class, lol. I still beat a '94 Teg LS that was running in CSP though. My worn down tires weren't helping me, but I know I could have driven a bit better and pushed it harder in some places. In any case, it was still a lot of fun and definately something I want to continue doing. Drag racing is so boring compared to this. I thought autocrossing would be cool, but it turned out to be even more fun than I had expected. I even liked working the track. There was definately a lot of cool people and good sportsmanship out there too.
yea, he just doubled it replying to this!
Hahaha
good job steven!
Weston, thanks for the pictures!
Doc, I don't want to sign up for imagestation to get the pictures, can I get them on a disk?
RY8127: i don't wanna hear it

Looks like there were some really nice cars there. The Red 240, however, is just a USDM S14a with the factory front lip spoiler. What mods do you have on the car that bump you to sts. Kind of something I'm battling with now- To mod the car as I want to or pretty much leave it and stay in DS. Anyway nice pics
The wheels and ITR rear swaybar kick me out of DS and into STS. I love STS for one reason - only street tires are allowed. DS was cool but you could never be as competive without autocross tires. STS rules!
