THMotorsports-

I noticed they had posted in the vendor section about the Apexi exhausts being on sale and after looking around I decided to purchase the Apexi Noir from them for my 94 Integra GSR sedan due to the fact that they had a great price and the item showed in stock.

Order was placed on 4-21-11, money was charged to my card, I received an initial order notification and was advised that the ship status would change once the item was shipped.

Waited until 4-25-11 and did not have any email notification or invoice of any kind. I decided I would contact them through email. I simply asked what the status of my order was. They responded immediately and told me that the exhaust was back ordered 5-6 weeks due to the Japan disaster situation.

On 4-26-11 I spoke with a representative and they did offer the WS2 exhaust instead at the same price and assured me that it would ship out 2 day air from Michigan. I decided to go ahead with the WS2 so I placed the order. i was told over the phone that I would receive an email notification regarding the status of the order and shipping information.

4-28-11 no email notification or invoice. I contacted them through their ticket support system. I waited until today 4-29-11 and received a response form them stating that the exhaust that they had in stock in Michigan somehow was sold prior to my order being placed and therefor they did not have anything in stock and the WS2 would not be available until May 9th.

4-29-11 I decided to cancel my order and contacted them by phone and according the customer service rep. the entire amount will be refunded to my card.

Overall once you contacted them they seemed ok, but the fact is, I ordered an item that was listed as being in stock, which turned out it wasn't. The only way I found out about the order status was for me to contact them, and now magically the exhaust that was to be my replacement is no longer in stock.

I have yet to receive any invoice or notification acknowledging that the WS2 has been shipped or that the order has been switched. Per our phone conversation, the exhaust was to be shipped on Wed. Apr. 27th 2 Day air with arrival time for Friday. Please let me know the status of the new order/shipment.

Hey Rob,
When we placed your order we had 1 available at our MI warehouse, unfortunately we got notification that HKS USA is going out of business in the USA and moving back to Japan, somehow the 1 that we had got sold before the order was sent it. The World sport 2 will available and ready to ship out to you May 9th, let me know if that works for you. Other wise I can have the order canceled out for you.

Imagine that another issue! This is ridiculous. I placed the original order on 4-21-11 and had to contact your company in order to find out a status on my exhaust. Then when you claimed to have one available for me and that it would ship in 2 days, I had to follow up again in order to find out that you in fact dont have one in stock. Also I'm not sure what HKS USA going out of business has to do with my Apexi brand exhaust.

I would appreciate it if my order was canceled and the entire amount was refunded to my card.

I had my ups and downs with them. My last 2 purchases from them I didnt get an invoice either....Also 2 of my items were out of stock and I got charged for it, I did get a refund but no one notified me about it until i finally emailed them about it about 2 months after not receiving it.

I dont mind the fact that the product was out of stock, so much as the fact that it showed in stock on the website, and then once I placed my order I never received an invoice in regards to shipping or order status.

I had to take it upon myself to contact them and ask what was going on. Then when they said they had the WS2 that they were willing to price match and ship 2 day air in order for me to have it in time to install during the weekend like I had planned, turns out that the only one they had in stock magically was sold prior to my order being placed.

Not a good way to handle your business if you ask me. But I shouldve known.

Just another update: On 5-3-11 I was refunded the entire amount.
