need help with fan sensor

need help with fan sensor

can anyone tell me where the sensor is located, i think its on the block but im not to sure, is there anything i need to do prior to taking it off ???

if your car is 92up (civic or integra) its on the thermostat housing

91 or older its on the block (green looking circle with two prongs)
