Wtb: hybrid racing k series shifter box
I am in need of a hybrid racing k series shifter box for my swap, will also need some rsx k cables
edit: also need a hood for 92-95 civic hatch/coupe, color is not important i dont care to much about dents, dings, chips, or rust as long as it retains most of the stock lines

iknowrite! lol this and a half shaft is holding me back and im just too lazy to go to the junkyard.
who would have thought that these would be on massive backorder for months?
are you still going j with your civic?

The hybrid shifters are almost always sold out. When I ordered mine a year ago it was the last one on hand after that it was 2mo before they had them again.
Best of luck. I also strongly recommend hybrid shifter cables too

I tried the Hybrid shifter box, and I did not like the feel. Really hard to find gears IMO.
They also told me it was on backorder for 2 weeks, and held my money for over a month and fed me excuse after excuse when it didn't come in. I know it was probably out of their control but that 6 weeks really held back my build.
Anyway, I just went with the K-Tuned shifter plate and an OEM box. Nothing feels better than OEM

the main reason I want it is that it allows me to not cut the floor up, and everywhere i have looked i heard the exact opposite with regards to shifting. good to hear another perspective.
To be honest, those are the same exact reasons why I wanted a Hybird box. When I checked out a car that had the Hybrid box installed, I was totally turned off.
I even talked to Mikey at Profunction about the Hybrid box and he despises it.
I didn't want to cut the tunnel up either, but if you're doing a J/K swap, you're doing a lot of irreversible changes anyway.

But just in case you are dead set on the Hybrid box:
