its been great being around but the cops and the heat have been too much trouble in my part of town
anyone else in the same position as i am?

Been there... Done that! 2 ITRs... 3 stolen wings and over 10K $ worth of damage... Got tired and trade for a RSX-S!

yah but you'll have the same problem all over again...little kids looking for a driftmobile will steal your **** for parts. AE86 parts, I'm sure, can swap into other Toyota cars.
If I saw a real hooked-up AE86, I would suspect it has something of value in it...and you're not gonna drive something that's not hooked up to a certain extent.
Same goes with Silvias, WRX, EVO, anything that will generate popularity within the youth market, and can exchange parts with other vehicles.

There are WAY less modified Toyotas on the road where i live (vancouver) than modded hondas; there isn't enough of a market for the stolen parts to warrant much theft; i;d think even a modded AE86 would be pretty safe:

if the car is stock why care about cops? they won't give u VI if ur car is stock.. beside just keep away from Richmond then don't worry about that !!

Good luck selling the car. I'm sorry to hear about the cops/etc up in the great north. Just my opinion, but I'd think an AE86 would be safe just about anywhere.
