looking to replace my hood on my 99 LX and have found a 00 SI hood. Will the si fit on my lx?

 

99 00 front ends fit all other trim lvls as long as its 4 door to 4 door or 2 to 2 door

 

Soooooo what your tellin me is a 2 dr si hood will NOT fit my 4dr lx civic?? Cuz that's what im reading....

 

The best way to tell would be to look at the part #'s for a 4 door and 2 door hood in the same colour.

 

I always thought that the coupes and sedans had different hoods, but i looked it up on majestic honda website and found a contradiction.

for the 99 si, the part # is listed as: 60100-S01-A01ZZ

and for the 99 lx, there are two part #'s shown: 60100-S01-A01ZZ and 60100-S04-020ZZ

so, it seems that one of the part #'s that showed up for the lx matches the # of the si hood, and the "si" hood appears to cost $5 more.

it fits. 7th gen 99-00 front end parts are interchangeable. same part number.

 

99-00 Civic... all the same 2dr, 3dr, 4dr

 

it will fit man
