Default ruined gsr head?

I have a '99 gsr that came with a blown motor. It had been run without oil and is obviously now ruined. I dropped an ls in it that I got for cheap so I could drive it. Now i'm thinking about rebuilding the gsr motor.

The head is messed up from running w/o oil. The camshaft journals in the head are excessively worn. I'm wondering if there is a fix for this because the cam rides directly in the head, or if this head is just trash now.

Any ideas? I don't know anything about this, thanks!

If you are willing to use cibao2ner's head then you could do like he said. Basically use your hardware on his head. You'd have to take everything including cams so the machine shop to get a precise fit. I would suggest you price what the machine shop is gonna charge you first before you go that route. It might be more expensive than finding another used head.

bump for Dahlonega GA.

try McIntosh Performance in Cumming for a good and local machine shop, as i have had good luck with them in the past. not many (if any) in Dahlonega that do/have done a honda.

kms is on the south side of ATL, as well as a lot of shops out by Road Atlanta...

pm me if you need/want help.
