pros an cons on regrinding cams????
so im byein this zc dohc comeplete for 200$$$
an it has a lil rebuild to it but i want to build it n/a not turbo
so in that case i want to get my cams regrinded to these specs..
Intake: 256 duration, 10.45 lift
Exhaust: 256 duration, 9.17 lift
there the old hks zc dohc cam specs.
an crower does regrinds for 180$$$ an thats a good price an wanted to know if its a smart move....
they are sayin they can do it but need the cams first to make sure its worth it to send in a pay???
should i do it??

honda uses awesome steel in their OEM cam. regrinds, imho, are the best way to go.
i would rather use a properly reground cam that is made of good steel, over some random chinese steel junk cam that squares the lobes off and takes out your rockers.
the down side of regrinds is theres only so much lift you can add by shrinking the base. and theres only so much thread on the valve clearance adjusters.
so your sayin its worth it to get my stock cams regrinded crower says that they should be able to do it...
i think this is better than bye the hks cams there like 1000$$$ fuuck that ish......

you are aware that just because you have max lift and duration figures you wont be able to copy the cams profile, right?
theres much more to a cam than max lift and duration....
