I pulled my engine to rebuild it (2001 Type R Canadian model) and engine is back in but for the life of me I cant seem to figure out where this one connector goes.

Its a black 2 wire connector. Wires are Yellow with black stripe and Red with Yellow stripe. It is on the branch of the harness that the IAC wires come from.

Any ideas?

 

evap purge sensor from what it sounds like

 

just finishing the wire tuck on my 01 R and was wondering the same thing last week lol.....its is for the EVAP
