bout to purchase one and need to know how i can inspect it without a micrometer and if its worn or warped? asap

Use the force. If you can't see anything past a visual inspection you're taking your chances.

It's pretty unlikely that the camshaft is "warped."

As long as it doesn't have major scratching on it it should be fine
