Default Looking to get a busa

I'm in the market now to pick up a busa, but I'm having trouble finding one that someone doesn't want an arm and a leg for. I've heard of people getting them for as low as 8800+++ at a dealer (new), and all the used ones I find people want ~7800-9000 for, which doesn't make sense to buy a bike like that used and save 500-700$, while getting something that someone has already beaten in.
I walked into my local dealer the other day, they wouldn't sell it for anything less than list

If I could find a used one for ~6500, I'd prolly be a player there, but anything over 7500, and it makes more sense just to save a headache and buy new
Anyone know of any good dealerships in the southeast?? I'm in Daytona, but I'm willing to ride it down here, as long as it isn't too far of a ride.

Good luck to you. I like Busas too. I think they retain their value because of their hyper-bike, ultra high top speed reputation.

No thanks. When I want one of those I'll go talk to the rich old fat guy a few houses down Whatever floats your boat, just don't float it too close to mine!

Thinking about the XX now as well, I've heard a few poeple mention it's quite fast, and pretty comfy too. Maybe the ZX12 is another possibility

I have a couple buddies with the ZX12. I am not a kawasaki fan, but they like them. I would stick with the busa. There is one at the local dealer that has been sitting there for a while. I will look and see how much it is next time I am in.
