I have an idea...
I hate how i think of ideas then all of a sudden i want the idea to come to life. I have a 06 ASM TSX that has scratches all over it and lil rust spots and stuff that i want taken care of. At first i just thought of just get the car repainted the same acura color. But then, i had the idea of changin it to nighthawk black since my rims r gloss black w/ a polished lip so thered still be that distinction between the car, the tire and wheels. But just now, i had the idea "y not go for sumthin different and do a two tone, top nighthawk black fading down into the asm color i have now"...i know itd be sumthin different but wonderin if itll look good...any body with comments on this case would be appreciated? U think it would look good or a dumb idea? dont be too harsh tho, its only a thought lol
Do you have experience painting? Are you going to pay to get it done? If you're going to pay I'm pretty sure it's going to cost a lot. I honestly don't think it will look good.
Im gonna pay to get it done, but now come to really think bout it, that would look kinda wierd. But i wanna do a two tone, but if i put black on top, the silver is so light, i dont think itd look right. Do you think i should go to like a carbon grey pearl then do the two tone with black on top or any ideas?
I don't think a fade would look very good... If you're that interested in two tone I think it'd look better with sharp boundaries.... I have seen eg hatchbacks with the hood and roof painted black and it didnt look terrible but it didn't look good IMO... I say go with a solid color 100% of the time it looks cleaner
Yea yall r right, i mean two tone is def a huge thought on my mind right now, but with how light of a silver i have right now, if i were to get the top done black, i still dont think itd look right, maybe if i went with like a carbon grey on the body, black on top, the maybe like a silver pinstripe to seperate the two colors, ive seen it before on here, guy has a 07 tl like that and it looks tight
Or the othe rideas i have is go with NBP with blue flakes or whatever so when seen from afar it looks black, but when close up and in different angles of sunlight it shows like a dark blue or alil lighter...or do silver body w/ blue flakes, black body w/ silver flakes, or sumthin to those natures..idk..any opinions on the above ideas?

silver and blue might look good except you're gonna look like a cowboys fan haha.... overall I like your idea of the nighthawk black if you could fade it into like a mustangs charcoal gray.... it's subtle and would probably look good with yuor black rims
I really don't see neither looking good on a TSX; silver/black/blue combinations make the car look plastic-y... in my opinion, and should be kept to SUVs or Trucks. Check out some google pictures of those colours.
If you go black and fade a little bit, that would look pretty good, though.

Yea thats the main reason id like the base to be black cuz i wnat sumthin to go with the black rims, i like that idea of that fade tho, and i wasnt talkin bout like alot of blue to where itd see like im a cowboys fan (im not, niners fan baby, oh yeaa lol) just like i said tho, itd look all silver when far away but when standin at it and at different angles, it shows that blue in it that makes it look blue (and not a dark blue, like a normal or lil lighter blue) but its a silver car
The plan has changed. The color is gettin changed to NBP. Thats the base color. But now comin up with ideas of like a dark blue or lil lighter pin stripe goin down side under the window trim. Then also gettin the lips of my rims done the same color to match the color of the pin stripe.
