New GSR owner; some concerns
Well, I just bought my first Integra GSR 01 and I am loving every moment with it. However, there is a pretty strong smell that happens to come into the vents when using the AC or not. The best I can described it is like burning paper. The car does not over heat or anything and runs amazing and hits Vtec really nicely. The dealer said that it's all the new gaskets wearing in because they did a fresh rebuild on the motor and more. Everything in engine compartment looks brand spanking new. It does look like it was cleaned up because it looks too new and no oil stains anywhere on top. Although when I took it to my friends shop I did find a small oil leak, so that's getting fixed by them already. I'm just wondering what this smell can be. Because I can also smell it a little bit when getting off the car too. Maybe I am just being paranoid.
new engine breaking in smell?
could also be coolant thats being burned off when drained
i recently changed my radiator and there has been a small faint of coolant smell

I just bought my first 01 integra gsr too haha. Ive got some weird smells that catch me sometimes too. After taking it on a 3 hour road trip and averaging 38mpg not burning any oil or leaking anything im pretty confident in her!
It's a 2001 black 122,200
And yeah it does have a new rad too but Im also having them replace the thermostat because at high speeds the temp drops to cold? I'm guessing it gets stuck open.
