Default Valve adjustment?

I think for the 120K mile interval Honda recommends a valve lash adjustment. I know with hydraulic valve trains they adjust themselves but I am assuming after a while they just get out of whack. Anyone have any more input on this? DIY, etc?

Thanks,

So it is pretty much the same as all the other honda motors. Sick, that makes me happy. I think a couple of them are getting a little sloppy (105,000 miles) so I figured I would do that once the weather gets better. Thanks!

Don't forget to replace the VC/spark plug gaskets and use a dab of Hondabond

Yeah, I am contemplating throwing a Type R valve cover on at the same time. I would like to paint mine but the painted ones don't look as good.

Get it powdercoated to match your paint

I am actually not a huge fan of the paint match parts. I LOVE the look of an authentic crinkle red Type R cover though.
