h22 questions on wiring...

Default h22 questions on wiring...

i have a 96 accord, doing a swap with h22 96prelude motor... i am having a problem with the 96 accord ex(vtec) harness... the coil plug is a 4pin connector on the 96prelude motor,and the harness on the96 acc ex is a 5pin connector...but there is only 3 wires coming from the 4pin connector and 5 wires off the acc ord harness ... what do you do???there is also a sensor located between the distributor and the coil has one wire on it, need to no what sensor it is? also do not see a wire that goes here either... please help!!!

Ran into the same problem on a 97 Accord.... going to have to cut the plugs off of the other distributor and splice them into the Prelude distributor in order for it to plug into the Accord harness. Either that or do it the otherway around... cut the wiring harness that came with the Prelude, and splice the plugs from it onto the Accord harness so that the Prelude distributor will plug right in.
