i have a 93 civic vx. The left turn signal is fine but the right turn signal light on the dash lights up everytime i hit the brake when i dont have the turn signal on. When the right turn signal is on the dash light blinks fine till i hit the brake then it stops blinking and just stays lit till i let off the brake then it blinks normally again. any idea whats causing this? i tried searching and all i could find is people saying this was happening when putting a tow assembly on..

 

The wrong type of rear right brake/blinker bulb was likely installed.
