Default FS: 1998 D16Y8 COMPLETE

Hello,
I am selling my Engine from my 1998 honda civic EX. The Engine code is D16Y8. Transmission Code is S40. The engine has has 206,000 miles. All original from the same family. This is the single cam VTEC. The car that this engine came out of is legitimately been taken care of from day 1 it came off the Honda lot. My sister bought the car brand new and I bought it from her in 2005. It has never been modified. Timing belt has been changed twice. She changed it at about 100,000 miles and I changed it 180,000. I have the title of the car so the vin# on engine and transmission will match the title. I just took it out on 4.25.11 Monday.
Like I said previously, the engine has Never been modified and runs strong.
A few things about the engine. It has a slow leak from the oil pan. Typical from a Honda. My brother in law did all the service himself from oil changes, to valve clearances, and major maintenances. When I bought the car I did the oil changes and minor services myself. Major services like belt was done by my friend who works at a Honda dealer and is a certified mechanic.
Oil has always been changed every 3,000 miles. Also the transmission has a 3rd gear grind when at high rpm’s. Other than that when driving it normal there is no problem. This is also typical if you know Hondas. The engine runs strong. I wanted to let the potential buyer know these things before buying it. I am an honest person and just don’t want to leave hidden things out there.
The reason for selling the engine is that I did an engine swap in my car. That is the only reason, or I would still be driving the engine. I was getting on a full tank and average of 350 to about 365 on a full tank. No lie! If you own this model Honda than you can vouch for this.
To serious buyers and that are skeptical about the condition of the engine, I will let you do a compression test on the engine if you know how and ONLY if you have cash in hand. I don’t want to have window shoppers looking at the engine. I think the picture and detailed info is enough. Any ways any questions email.

No Short Cuts have been made when we took this engine out. NO CUT WIRES, HOSES, AND PLUGS.

Things that will be included. All original and all Honda parts no cheap aftermarket parts were used to do maintenance.
Engine
Transmission
Shift Linkage
Engine Wiring Harness Not Cut Not Modified with all plugs Still connected to engine.
All Engine Mounts
Axles
All pulleys
Computer

Sorry will not part out. The buyer can have the liberty to do that. I just don't want to be wrenching and pulling parts off and be left with the rest sitting in my garage.

Thanks for Looking!
