so i bought some supposedly amber style light bulbs for my del sol lower fog lights and they look exactly like stock bulbs.
is there any way of making them hids?

 

Most amber bulbs probably aren't going to do what you want. Especially cheaper ones (rarely colored glass-- just painted).
You buy an HID conversion kit in the proper bulb size for your fog lights in whatever color you want.

www.ebay.ca search your bulb size along with "HID" and "3000k" (thats the color temperature sellers use for yellow). I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
