How to remove antenna 96-00 civic?
So today I took out my radio and put in one of those block off plates, my interior looks 10x better now honestly with no radio...something like this

I also got the antenna block off plate as well but was wondering if anyones taken the antenna off and how I'd go about doing so. I unscrewed it and figured you just pull but dont want to screw it all up. I'd rather spend the time removing it properly.
Also this is a dumb question but... on the block off plate theres slots on the back where the radio harness plugs into once you disconnect the radio. Nothing though for the antenna so I guess this is a silly question but would there be any shorting issue leaving the antenna wire in there incase it touches bare metal?

you gotta unhook it from under the dash like above where the pedals are, just follow the wire from the back of where the deck used to be, and you will find it, youre gonna have to take that fuse cover thing off, not just the little piece, but that whole section that surrounds it. you know what i mean? kinda sounds vague lol.
