How to remove rear hub assembly?
off a 95 honda del sol, this is the last thing it needs to be back on the road after replacing the tie rods, 02 sensor, and other things, and i cannot figure out how to remove the hub assembly!
Looked at the service manual pdf i downloaded, looked at all the threads on google and the youtube videos, and i still cant get the rear hub off the car.
What ive done so far.
Removed lug nuts/wheels
screwed in screws in the holes on the outer drum and popped it out
removed the cap with a flat head
removed the 32mm bolt and washer
At this point it says the hub should just slide out but all it does is move back and forth. im stuck and have no clue how to get it off. A friend who works for tires plus says that once you remove the 32mm screw you should be able to slide the hub assembly off if not hit it with a hammer and it should loosen up. I hammered the crap out of it and nothing. If anyone knows how to get this thing off please let me know.

done. rented a hub assembly puller from advance auto parts and it came off on the second pull. the inner bearing cover/racer decided it wasnt ready to go so I got a chisel and seperated it enough and used a hook tool that came with the puller and yanked it out. Then i sprayed some wd40 on the spindle and used the puller as a pusher to put the new hub in since it was pretty damn hard to push in.
