Koni STR.T, Tokico Blue or KYB GR2
I’m looking to replace the shocks on my CB7 coupe. The car is still mostly stock and it will stay that way. The suspension and steering systems have recently been refreshed with the exception of the shocks.
My current shocks are beyond blown and need replacing ASAP. I don’t want to put econo shocks on this car and would like something a bit sportier than stock. I’m leaning towards the Tokico Blues.
Which leaves me the following choices:
Koni STR.T
KYB GR2
Tokico Blues

The KYB and Tokico are not 'sporty' they are simple OE replacements.
The only shock on the list I would even consider is the Koni.
Now you say mostly stock, is the car lowered?

Supposedly the GR-2 and HP shocks have *slightly* higher damping than stock.
Normally I never recommend HP or GR-2 shocks, but for stock ride height with stock springs, any of those 3 choices will suit you just fine I think.
