Default r2vs issues

im building a b16 head with buddy club stage iv cams, and have an issue. my retainer to valve guide seal clearence is 0, the retainer hits the valve guide seal at max lift on the vtec lobe. checking this with valve checking springs have lifters locked in vtec. my question is what can i do to increase my r2vs clearance? ive heard you can mill the guide or put the head in the oven to hit the guides down lower, also heard you can shave the retainers. whats the best way to do it?
