Default Remote Start with kill switch

Okay so I have a remote start installed in my teg, i know this isn't really specified to a car but i thought I could atleast try and see if anybody knows

I have a manual fuel pump kill switch.

I tried to wire up a relay to where I could use the ground when locked to enable the kill switch.

Got a relay like this

-----87
86--87a--85
-----30

now on here http://causeforalarm.thecarthing.com...ill/index.html

it says to connect fuel pump wire to 87a and the other end that goes toward the dash to 30

then wire the ground when armed/locked or manual switch to 85

and then use 18 gauge wire to wire from 86 back to 30.

My problem is when I use the remote start it doesn't start. but when i press the door unlock and then remote start it works fine. But common sense shows you i would not want to do that lol

now on another website they say to connect the 86 to a 12v source. I believe the fuel pump is a 12v source which is why they have you loop to 30 on the other diagram.

but i think I need a constant 12v source and thats where my question comes in, is the fuel pump a constant, accessory, ignition?

from what i read

constant is at any time without key in ignition

accessory is 1st stage of turning the key

ignition is 2nd stage

my guess is the accessory because you have to turn the key to hear the fuel pump but i want to ensure i am right.

what year is your teg? if its a 2000 then you probably need to bury a key inside your car where your remote starter can get a signal from the transponder and bypass the immobilizer.

edit: nvm you said it works when you unlock the doors lol. yea thats weird idk lol
