ok i need help my car just broke down im in a parking lot on my phone trying to have you guys help me figure out what happed. ok so im driving home and i always gun it on this stretch of road sence its cop free zone and i missed gear from 3rd to forth an grabed 2nd doings about 70 .car shifted super hard and then it sounded like ****.. missing like crazy foot to the floor hardly moves 20 mph if that. 2nd 3rd an 4th miss like crazy durning accel.an the wont do anything past 40 mph. foot to floor an i hear nothing 5th motor cuts in an out and sounds SUPER ROUGH. o my tach an water temp went out in the event aswell please some1 try and help me =( i never had something like this happen im totaly lost

 

Been there done that. Probably blew the timing belt. Which killed the valves or worse. Your gonna need at least a new head if not a whole new engine.

 

If the timing belt snapped, the car wouldn't run at all. It may have skipped timing, though.

Have you tried at least resetting the ECU? It's at least worth a try, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
