red ef hatch...should i repaint car with moldings matched or leave it the original color black? pics
i have a red 91 hatch....planning to paint it milano red..but cant decide if i should paint the moldings too or just leave it original black....pics will be helpful...i need to decide soon

I had the same problem or I was in the same situation a couple of months ago...I went with keeping the moldings black. I had em repainted black though so they'll look new. Unless you plan on prepping the moldings so they can hold the body color paint, I wouldnt recommend it. it will look ok to have a chipped black molding than a chipped colored one. If you decide to repaint the moldings, be careful not to break the clips. Brand new moldings all around cost $200 from the dealer and they're hard to find in the junkyard. Just my 02...

Hell for the 200 bucks for the new moldings I would just get a body shop to shave and paint the areas...

what i would do is.. paint them black and get JDm all around.. make it look JDM.
