Disconnect the cables at the other end, the plug will go with the dash harness, and the dash, should be no need to remove the controls.

Disconnect heater control cables, #14 and #15... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
Unbolt dash at the ends... #4 and #5... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
Unplug dash harness from chassis harness, door harnesses and rear harness, and remove dash.
Remove duct, #9... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
If you have not already, drain coolant and remove heater hoses, unbolt and remove heater box, #2... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal
Split heater box to access core.

Remember where everything goes and reinstall in reverse.94

not that difficult follow what fcm said, and it should come right off once all the bolts and hoses are disconnected from the heater core unit.
