Default A Few Questions About Tuning With Crome

Alright, I street tuned my car 2 weeks ago for my build. The car runs a lot better than the generic chip in it, however, I am in the process of making another tune for optimum performance for now. My build is a GSR block, P30 pistons, and stock B16 head, AEM intake, and RMF header. I am adding a better intake mani, throttle body, and 3" intake soon, along with cams in the future. However, what would be my best bet in starting with for the tune? My current map is a Type-R map with a little bit of tinkered timing around VTEC, VTEC set at 5200 rpm, and 2 step. I lean out a bit at 4800-5200 rpm, and the rest is fine. I was going to throw on the stock Type-R map and call it a day for now, but Dennis at Hybrid said a fattened B16 map would work a little better. Any input? Also, if anyone has a map they ran on a similar setup, or a map they could make real quick to show me it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using a wideband oxygen sensor to tune the cars with?

If so, it doesn't matter what fuel tables you start with as long as the fuel tables are properly tuned.

I didn't the first time, but I am this time. So as long as I have a wideband in, I can then play around?

Tuning without a wideband oxygen sensor is close to pointless.
So, yes you need one to properly tune a car.
