Default oil in my coolant, head gasket?

Need your help honda tech,

engine is h22a built 1:9 ,head with spring and retainers.
ARP second time used and cometic headgasket. gt35 1bar, tuned on AEM.

I see evidence of oil in my coolant and i am loosing coolant.

oil is clean car never overheated no smoke.

Head gasket failed ,arp studs....something else??

Thanks!

more then likely head gasket failure, but your gona need to have your head checked for cracks as well

i also think its head gasket or a crack but what could be the reason for the failure? why there is no coolant in oil (oil is very clean)?

what is the torque specs for closing the head? (may something there was wrong)

may be it failed because ARP used second time on my engine?

ARP studs are re-usable....replace the headgasket and if it does it again have the head and blocked checked to make sure they are flat.

is it an automatic transmission? do you have an oil cooler on the filter side like most GSR's do?

-Which head gasket you suggest me to use now? OEM or cometic
-Replace the ARP studs with new ones?

The car made 460HP on pump gas at 18psi,
the target is 700HP and i think on the way of doing the head gasket to replace valves, is it necessary?
which cams will gain the highest HP on the same boost without tune?

Thanks

The oil has a higher viscosity than water and is under more pressure so with a small leak it will force itself into the wayer but not the other way around. This happened on my old eclipse.

The car ran about 2000km include on dyne after the engine built,
The head bolts never tightened after the build.

Do you think tight them might help?

If I were you, I would re-torque them down to the correct specs and sequence - you have nothing to lose in that aspect...

He has an h22. Not a b18c. No heat exchanger.

I'm getting tired of opening threads and seeing nothing but inattentive dipshits posting without reading

LOL, wonder if a compression test would help reveal anything in this situation...

a compression test wont really help anything... other than tell you what you already know.. you need a new headgasket

oil in the coolant = small headgasket failure. coolant in oil = massive headgasket failure, or the off chance cracked head (very unlikely)

put a new headgasket on it and be done with it

What do you think should I use new ARP?
Use Oem or comedic head gasket?

Thanks guys

One more question what is the exact size of thread cleaner i should buy to clean the stud threads?

From service manual the bolt size is 12x1.25mm so how high is the thread?

no luck with that

Any other way to do it?

I am going to to reuse the arp studs so i don't have spare bolt to make a chaser.

i will apriciate If someone here can make me one and send it to me (with payment)

Air pressure and thick brush is good?
