Hi, I did a Turbo Mini-me using D16y8 head on D16y7 Block. The head is all crower internals but I left the Block stock, I ran 13lbs of boost and bent a Piston Rod,So No I'm getting the Vitara Pistons with Eagle Rods or this rods from Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_3894wt_1058

Ok I need to know what Yr Vitara Pistons I need to get and do I need to bore the sleeves to fit them? if here's anything else I need for it to work let me know, thanks..

 

Don't take a chance on those Ebay sellers with something like this. And why are you looking at B16 rods?

According to the vehicles specs they also fit in an EK SOHC.. But they might be wrong or misleading just to sell.. Thank you for that link, ill check them out...

 

They don't. They would have to be re-bushed and machined.

 

i honestly hate vitara builds. search ycp vitara pisdtons d16 on ebay and look for d16 rods. (eagle h-beams) or the ever so popular custom length I-beams d16 rods only. if you get standard size they will drop right in after a fresh cylinder hone. if you get over sized then yes you will need to get bore. and these "vitara" pistons dont really actually come from the suzuki vitara so dont buy those. make sure they are 75mm.

 

What's wrong with a Vitara build? For the money it can't be beat and is a proven set up.
