Since I hit 15k miles on 00 FBP, a strange click noise seems coming from front left area under the firewall. I went for 15K
tune up at my dealer but my luck, the click noise didn't happen and they checked all suspension components and find nothing
loose. Now i still hear this damm noise when i cruise on highway with bumps sometimes and not. Its drives me nuts.
Now I jacked up car again in my garage and looked under and can't find nothing loose or abnormal. Any inputs?
I asked this ques before and dealer checked CV , 32mm nuts and is ok.
Last thing is that when i released jack lowering the car, a strange wining sound came from back of car, what the heck
was that too?

does it click while driving?- just to clarify.

 

yes, it click when i drive but its a intermittent click. Its feels like coming under the dead pedal area.

 

Check for cracks on body parts, like in door jams.
Also, these clicks migh come from suspension springs sitting in.
