Seafoam procedure question
Get what apart? There's tons of guides that are pretty self explanatory. You must have missed those. A 1/3 in the gas tank. A 1/3 in the crankcase oil. A 1/3 through the brake booster vacuum line. Feed the Seafoam into the line slowly so it doesn't stall (yes he car is running at this point). Run until white smoke stops pouring from exhaust. Drive about 50ish miles and immediately change the oil since the viscosity will be reduced to that of ink. Failure to do so wioll blow up your engine eventually.
take the vacuum line off the brake booster on the driver's side of the firewall and suck the seafoam in from there, get 1/3 of the can in there without letting it die, then at the end of the 1/3 can let it suck it ALL in to kill the motor, then let it sit for 15 mins, then start it up and smoke out the neighborhood.
Yeah an oil change... I've never pulled the line so that was my question, which line and how to pull it. I was pussyfooting around since I'm a car noob but it was no problem. The car runs pretty smooth now comparatively.
glad it smoothed it out. i did seafoam on my 95 about 5 years ago and 2 weeks later i had a nasty head gasket leak. just keep an eye on your coolant/oil now.
and no offense, but 30 seconds of google searching yeilded this:
