hi , sorry for my bad english onece again, i'm in belgium and here no help possible; someone can help me about max revs i can reach?

i'm building my blok k20a2 (ep3)

here is my setup :

-rotrex C38-61
-cp pistons 86mm 11:1
-darton MID sleeves
-headgasket cometic
-brain crower connecting rods
-acl bearings
-brain crower (forced induction) stage 2
-brian crower valves and springs
-new stock type r oil pump
-hybrid racing chain tensionner

i read that my cams will produce power@ 9000trs min
can i set my k pro revs to 9000 without breaking riks or maybe 8900?

when i will know the max revs possible, i will customise my crank pulley to obtain the 90000tr min for the rotrex to rev with my rotrex pulley 100mm.

but i have to know the max revs for my engine to calculate it

I read that the stock k20a2 valvetrain is good up to 9k, so with improvements you should be able to safely hit it pretty often

 

what cams? If its stock, the cams are dropping off before 9000rpm.

 

looks like he is using bc stage2's in which im sure they should make power to 9k or better. as long as the bottom and is balanced you should be fine till 9k.

ther is no problem @9k with the stock K20A2 type r oil pump? the pump will work good till the rev @ 9k? i read some bad things about caving but don't know if it's true

do you have an idea of the power i will reach with my setup if i rev@9K with my rotrex C38-61 spinning at his max (90000tr/min) just before the engine revs
in belgium we use 98 ron fuel.

i hope to be almost clear with my basic english, sorry

The engine will handle 9k all day. The oil pump is good till about 9k to 9.5k higher than that and the pump will cause cavitation. DC5 guys switch to a modified S2K oil pump at this point.

I have a All Motor K20 and mine will rev past 9000 all day long. Rev limiter is set at 9250 and l make max power at 9000 so its not a problem going that high, happy revving

 

you have stock oil pump on you all motor k20?

if i revs before 9000 i will lose power

 

yes I'm running stock oil pump

 

do you think the c38 can spin a little more than 90000tr min? or i have to do a new crank pulley to respect this limit?

how about K24? what is the max rev with upgrade valvetrain?

longer stroke = higher pistion speeds at the same rpm. A k24 at 7500rpm has the same piston speeds as a f20 at 9000 rpm...if you want to rev the **** out of a k24, plan on biulding the bottom end....or buying another motor when you stick a rod through the block....it may not happen the first time you do it, but it will let go at some point.
