H22 ARP headstuds on an F22a
I ordered some ARP head studs but I don't think that they will fit. The bolts that are factory OEM have one that is larger because for some reason it is taller in the head at that point? My question is, what is the difference in the head stud kit or are they the same? It is an ARP head stud kit and doesn't have a longer stud in the kit that I got which appears to be for an H22a.
Thanks!

I just re-read my post and it doesn't make any sense. In short, I took the head off of my F22a and the center head bolt is taller then the rest. My head stud kit I got in the mail does not have a taller stud for that hole. Is this correct or do I need a different head stud kit?

You're talking about two different heads. Without looking, I'd guess the H22a head doesn't need the taller stud because of the design.
If you look at that picture you'll see the third head bolt in the back row has to be longer than the rest. This is the case on a F22a head.
