440cc injectors not enough for this 81mm lsvtec?
Has anyone experienced this?
Setup is as follows:
81mm b18a bottom, ls rods.
P30 pistons
Head milled
Compression roughly at 12.5:1
Buddy club spec 4 cams set at 0,0 on bisimoto cam gears
import builders ported itr manifold, 65mm tb opening
68-65mm tapered throttle body
3 inch ebay sri/bpi stack/k&n filter
00 pr3 b16 head, stock ports
93 octane
Rc 440's
Walbro 255
Stock rail, lines, filter
B&m regulator set at 45 psi
Big tube tri-y
2.5 collector, 2.5 test pipe, 2.5 buddy club full exhaust
Here's the dilemma, after adjusting a stock p30 basemap in crime for the injectors, displacement, etc, my final fuel multiplier is .54.
Now during street tuning this thing just wants a **** ton of fuel. Injector duty cycle is maxing out to 110% from 8000 to cut off (8600).
Now, I don't know how correct this value is in crime considering there are other variables that crime cannot account for.
Im tuning to 12.5:1 at WOT in the upper loads/rpm ranges in crome to compensate for the e10 gas at all the local gas stations (10% ethanol).
The problem is in 5th gear, it just does not want to accelerate past 8k...which is where crime starts to indicate im over 100% duty cycle. This just may be coincidence. But who knows.
Motor is healthy, no smoke, good compression numbers.
I've also tuned the high rpms to a 12:1 mixture and the wideband cooperates so I know the injectors are still supplying fuel even though crime says were at 120%+ duty cycle when I do that.
Im thinking it may be cam timing at this point with these bc4's set to 0,0 on a milled lsvtec. I will be degreeing them this weekend to find out how far off they are.
I've never seen a stock port 81mm lsvtec want more fuel than 440ccs can supply.

Yah there are no codes. Car pulls great in lower gears upto 8600, just seems to happen in 4th a bit and really bad in 5th. Im going to replace the fuel filter. Owner says its 6 years old lol. Ill degree the cams as well. I think ill play with plug gap as well. Plugs are new bkr7e set at .44 gap. The plugs all have a slight tan tint to the insulator which is a good sign. Cap, rotor, wires are all new.
Im also going to try altering afrs up top in either direction, to 11.5 and to 14.5 to see if the problem lessens. Maybe my wideband is off. Its a 1 month old lc-1. It shouldn't be bad. One thing I didn't do was compare logworks afrs to crome's. Maybe crome is off. I know my voltage values in crome are correct for the lc-1, but ill double check those too.
Anyone else have any other ideas?
