You want 500 HP at the wheels, and your asking if you should replace anything on an old B16 head before attempting this?

So you're planning a lot of boost? Then also plan for hardened nitride valves, new cams, new springs, retainers, and while you're at it new guides. Also consider a port and polish job.

uhh no stock b16 head is holding 500WHP which is ridiculous for a street car. specially turboed.

basically replace everything. also you'll need to beast up your bottom end. do some research.

Doesn't seem like you did much research. How did you come to the 500 horsepower number?

Invest in a new set of stock valves or save the old ones if they are still in good shape. Stock valves flow better than any aftermarket valve on the market. I would invest in some dual valve springs and upgrade to at least a set of Gs-R or ITR/CTR cams. If the LMA's made some noise or look worn I would replace them, but if they seem to be in decent shape save yourself the money.
